How to Download and Start a TeamViewer Session

Step 1: Download TeamViewer

  1. Click the following link to download TeamViewer: https://898.tv/synex

  2. Save the file to your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Install or Run TeamViewer

  1. Navigate to your Downloads folder.

  2. Double-click the downloaded file:

    • Windows: TeamViewer_Setup.exe

    • macOS: .dmg or .pkg file

  3. When prompted, select Run or Install.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and accept any security or licence prompts.

Step 3: Launch TeamViewer

  1. Open the TeamViewer application.

  2. Wait for the application to display Your ID (also known as Session ID) and Password on the main screen.

Step 4: Share Your Session Details

  1. Provide the Session ID (Your ID) and Password to the Synex support operator.

  2. Keep TeamViewer open and do not close it during the support session.

  3. When the session begins, approve any “Allow Remote Control” or similar permission prompts.

Step 5: End the Session

Once the support operator confirms that the session is complete, you can safely close TeamViewer.
